Thursday 20 July – Brainfood: Preventing Creative Burnout
Led by Kirsty Fox from Bees Make Honey
Innovation can’t happen without creative thinking, without people being capable of improvisation, lateral thinking, and creative problem-solving. Self-employment can be very draining and stressful. The business becomes a huge part of your life as an individual because you need passion and drive to succeed. But this can easily lead to bad habits in terms of work-life balance which reduce your ability to cope with stress and handicap your creativity. This workshop will walk attendees through the basic physiology of stress and how they can become more resilient, leading to a more energised brain that is ready and willing to innovate.
