Getting started!

A half-day SME start-up workshop to help you innovate and be up to date on various legal aspects of your business. Join the Enabling Innovation and Legal Advice teams in the first of a series seminars aimed at supporting your enterprise to innovate. The seminar will give you a brief taste of various topics that will later be covered in more depth throughout the year as part of our free legal support series.

During this seminar the Legal Advice Centre will host four sessions on the following topics:

  • Business structures
  • Commercial property
  • Employment law
  • Data Protection – How GDPR will affect your business?

The sessions will be followed by a networking lunch where you will be able to meet other businesses, share experiences and further discuss any queries or doubts with our experts.

This event is free to attend, but attendees must register in advance.

Enabling Innovation is a three-year collaboration between Nottingham Trent University, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Derby to support SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to innovate. It is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
