The Annual Supplier Forum and Awards is an opportunity for our suppliers to hear from NTU about our strategy, direction, values and important programmes, while also allowing us to recognise and reward the efforts and achievement within our supply chains.

The Annual Supplier Forum and Awards is an opportunity for our suppliers to hear from NTU about our strategy, direction, values and important programmes, while also allowing us to recognise and reward the efforts and achievement within our supply chains.
The awards are free to enter and attend, and are open to all of our suppliers.

The award categories are:

  • Contribution to Student Employability
  • Award for Innovation
  • Excellence in Customer Service
  • Best use of Technology
  • Best Cost Saving Initiative
  • Best Small Medium Enterprise
  • Supplier of the Year (to be nominated by NTU students or staff only).

Please be advised that the deadline for submitting award entries and nominations is 5 September 2017.

Sponsorship

We have a small amount of exclusive sponsorship opportunities available to suppliers during this event. This provides an exciting opportunity to promote your business at the forum, and showcase the organisation during the networking event following the awards ceremony. There are two types of sponsorship available and will be granted on a first come, first served basis.

1. The headline event sponsor will have their company logo incorporated into all the event literature pre and post the event. Also included is a one page feature in the event program or table flyer, plus a premium stand space available in the networking area.

2. Main sponsors will have a one-third page biography included in the event programme or table flyer as well as the opportunity to provide a stand in our networking area.

Our 2016 winners 

  • Contribution to Corporate Social & Environmental Responsibility – Evans Vettori Architects for showing vision, dedication and courage in designing and implementing a truly inspirational Heart of Campus at our Clifton Campus. The Pavilion is the first carbon neutral, EPC A rated building and with a BREEAM Excellence rating, the scheme has set new standards in finish and operation.
  • Contribution to Student Experience – Softcat for the HIVE Sponsorship App Design Project. The project engaged with students to design and market an App as part of their course. The winning App named iTalk would help and improve individuals with stammering/stuttering disorder to speak more fluently without any hesitation.
  • Award for Innovation – DTP Group – Managed Print Division for developing a new and innovative costing model, resulting in a significant reduction in print-related costs and a positive impact on the environment due to diminished toner wastage.
  • Excellence in Customer Services – Meridian Business Support for understanding, developing and fulfilling business requirements in the recruitment of staff, including partnering NTU at community events.
  • Best Cost Saving Initiative – Phoenix Software for realising substantial savings in seeking out offers and better licensing options for NTU.
  • Best Use of Technology – Solutionpath Limited for the development of the Tutor and Student Dashboard and subsequent creation of a mobile app – the system which provides sophisticated data analytics to ensure the students get the best possible experience with their personal tutor whilst at University.
  • Supplier of the Year 2016 was given to Evans Vettori for their vision, hard work and excellent customer care in delivering the best Estates capital project completed to date – Clifton Heart of Campus.
