Nottingham Trent invites you to join us for a workshop on ways of funding your innovation projects.

This event will be split into three sessions aiming to provide delegates with essential information on upcoming funding opportunities, R&D Tax Credits and how the University works with SMEs to help them achieve their goals for new product and service development.

Content will include:

  • Introducing a strategy for innovation in businesses
  • Industry experts on R&D tax credits
  • Upcoming funding opportunities
    The Knowledge Transfer Network will spell out funding opportunities for SMEs and a case study of previous SME success with the KTN and Innovate UK.
  • Local businesses will share their experiences of working with similar projects.
  • NTU’s Research Grant Capture Team
    The RGCT will outline their roles and they can work to further support SMEs

Guests are welcome to join us from 10.30 am with sessions taking places from 11 am to 3 pm. There will be an opportunity for networking with lunch and refreshments provided throughout the event.

This event is free to attend, but attendees must register in advance. In order to attend this event you must be eligible for support from the Enabling Innovation Programme, which supports SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Enabling Innovation is a three-year collaboration between Nottingham Trent University, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Derby to support SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to innovate. It is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
