Make a lifestyle change.
We are asking departments across the university to make a change to positively improve their impact on the environment and the society we live in.
Why? Well it’s nice to think it will make everything a little greener but it can also lead to you adapting your day to day to activities that will in turn save you money and give you that warm and fuzzy feeling that you are doing something good for others and the place that you live in.
This October we are introducing Nottingham Trent University Green Impact 2017. Green Impact is a great way to get you on your journey to make change, we ask a team (as small as 2 people) to stand up and represent your department. We look at biodiversity improvements, energy and water consumption, waste awareness and everything in between. You have the opportunity to work through activities online, or run with your own project addressing the change that is most needed.
For more information we would love to see you at the ‘Introduction to Green Impact 2017’ Wednesday 15th November at 12.30pm. In the space of an hour we can show you how it works and what others across the institution have already been doing. Email email@example.com to register your interest.
Please note, if you have taken part in Green Impact 2016/17 the environment team will be catching up with your team to discuss how you would like to see the year going forward.
