This workshop will focus on the vital area of Intellectual Property. The Workshop will help you understand what you need to know to identify, utilise and protect your IP in your ideas, design and products. The event will be led by academic staff and practising patent attorneys and attendees will have the chance to ask any burning questions they may have.

A half-day event on Intellectual Property with informative sessions from experts and interesting case studies to learn from.

Content will include:

  • An introductory session covering the basic IP knowledge for a designer maker
  • a specific session on how to protect your innovations and creations
  • listen to a number of practical case studies
  • set out your queries to our specialists in a dedicated 1-to-1 session.

This event is free to attend, but attendees must register in advance. In order to attend this event you must be eligible for support from the Enabling Innovation Programme, which supports SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Enabling Innovation is a three-year collaboration between Nottingham Trent University, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Derby to support SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to innovate. It is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
