The NTU Maker Club is hosting an exciting event in collaboration with INTEREG Europe during which we will be looking at methods of sustainable construction; with particular emphasis on straw bales building.

Participants will have the opportunity to watch demonstrations, get involved in the design of a straw bale building, and to further explore this method of construction through an inspiring set of presentations from the UK’s lead practitioner.

The following topics will be covered within the session: standards; design principles; construction principles; and finishes.
