If you are thinking of starting a food business and launching your brand, this Breakfast Bite session is for you! The seminar will help you understand what you need to know to about bringing your food business dream to life.

Lead by Claire Brumby (“The Food Guide”) attendees will be taken through her journey of founding a successful, award-winning food brand in a fiercely competitive, £billion industry. She will share experiences and knowledge gained in the process providing you with invaluable insights at the start of your own food and drink business adventure.

All businesses that attend will receive an “Innovation Voucher” entitling them to 12 hours of support from Nottingham Trent University.

Content will include:

  • How to launch a business from a negative financial position
  • The terrifying lows and ecstatic highs in the journey of creating a food and drink brand
  • Common pitfalls (and how to avoid them!)

Claire is also a Virgin Start-Up Mentor, contributor to Fresh Hospitality food eZine, and a Judge for The Quality Food Awards.

This event is free to attend, but attendees must register in advance. In order to attend this event you must be eligible for support from the Enabling Innovation Programme, which supports SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Enabling Innovation is a three-year collaboration between Nottingham Trent University, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Derby to support SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to innovate. It is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
