As part of the School of Arts and Humanities Research Seminar Series, Dr Ramona Usher, NTU, presents : 'Ireland: Post-colonial with a ? and -'
Dr Ramona Usher will be exploring the complexities of Irish postcoloniality in relation to her research on the built environment, offering a refreshingly interdisciplinary insight.
Ramona completed her PhD at NTU, where her research concerned the construction of identity through archaeology and the historic built environment. She has since become a Historic Buildings Advisor and has worked extensively in public, private and charitable sectors, advising on the repair, conservation and regeneration of the built heritage. She lectures in heritage and conservation at Nottingham Trent University
