Fundamentals of Funding series
Join the Enabling Innovation team for the second of three interactive workshops on finance for SMEs. This series will equip business owners on how to navigate the complex world of business finance.
Workshop 2: Financing Growth
The workshop will start with reviewing lessons learnt from participants own analysis, their goal setting exercise and the growth targets they have set. This will help Suzie Campbell of MetaValue flex the workshop to their needs. We will then move on to looking at the different types of funding and finance that are available and where each is most relevant. This could include for example venture capital, equity investment, crowdfunding, public and other enterprise funds available to SMEs.
Follow-up Activities: Participants will be tasked with creating some 'To Be' financial analysis for their own growth and funding plans and given a simple handout to complete on their Business which will used in Workshop 3 and when they go on to work on their Business Plans for investors.
Participants looking to attend this session must sign up to Workshop 1: Financial Management and Planning for Growth
