Event details
This Breakfast Bite will explore processes that any food & drink business can easily adopt to ensure the quality, safety, traceability and reliability of your products.
ISO 22000 is an international standard that outlines the essential requirements of a food safety management system covering all organisations operating within a food chain from ‘farm to fork’.
What are the benefits of ISO 22000?
As a food & drink business, you’ll already be aware of how serious the consequences of unsafe food can be for both the consumer and your business.
Food safety management standards such as ISO 22000 help you to identify and control potential food safety hazards or failures at every step in the supply chain to protect your customers, your reputation, and your profit.
Is it for me?
ISO 22000 is applicable to all businesses and organisations, regardless of size, which are involved in any aspect of the food chain and want to implement systems that ensure consistently safe products.
All businesses that attend will receive an “Innovation Voucher” entitling them to 12 hours of support from NTU.
Content will include:
- Overview of ISO 22000
- What on earth is it?
- How will it benefit my business
