This Food & Drink Masterclass will focus on building your food brand. Learn the skills you need to bring your food brand to life, and take it to market.

Whether you have already created your product and begun to establish your brand, are in the development stages, or are just starting out, there will be information and guidance within this workshop for you.

A brand is so much more than just the name or logo. Come along and learn what really goes into creating a food & drink brand.

What you will learn:

  • What’s in a name? – common brand naming mistakes and how to avoid them
  • How to create you brand – name, logo, tone, personality
  • Standing out from the crowd - with your brand and packaging
  • Taking your brand to market – identifying where your product and brand sits
  • Useable marketing techniques – guerrilla, edible, experiential (to name just a few!)

Led by Claire Brumby, whose brand was awarded ‘CoolBrand’ status in both 2013/14 and 2016/17, this 2-day workshop is a packed full of top tips, know-how and practical knowledge so you will leave with a much clearer vision on what steps you take next in your food brand journey.

This event is free to attend, but attendees must register in advance. In order to attend this event you must be eligible for support from the Enabling Innovation Programme, which supports SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Enabling Innovation is a three-year collaboration between Nottingham Trent University, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Derby to support SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to innovate. It is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
