The Nottingham Law School Experience Law Day is for college and sixth form students. The day will give you an idea of what it’s like to study law at Nottingham Law School and where it can take you.

Our Experience Law Day is an exclusive opportunity to experience:

  • An interactive workshop in the Courtrooms
  • Campus tour of NTU’s facilities and the law library
  • Legal careers information session
  • Meet current law students and ask any questions you might have
  • Learn how to build plea-in-mitigation
  • Build a case in favour and against a defendant
  • Act as defense council

An introduction to Nottingham Law School

Interactive Legal workshop and plea in mitigation exercise

12 pm - 12.30 pm

Presenting to the Judge and conclusion

12.30 pm - 1 pm

Lunch break and Q&A with Current Law Students

Law Careers and opportunities presentation with Amber Page, Schools Colleges & Community Outreach

1.30 pm – 2 pm

Tour of the campus and end of the day.

Our new innovative experience days offer students the opportunity to immerse themselves in our courses. Join us for experience days in a variety of subjects including:

The event is free, but places are limited. Please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Nottingham has plenty of Park and Ride services, a number of which are run alongside the city’s tram service - the parking provision is always generous, and you can expect a tram every ten minutes.
