Event details

Described as one of the more exciting developments on the jazz scene from the last few years, Arun is one of the UK’s most distinctive artists and passionate communicators. The arrangements offer an innovative take on traditional Indian music.

Arun Ghosh fuses trademark Indo-jazz with ambient introspection, psych-rock swirls and dance-floor friendly designs. Propelled by driving drums, electronics and hypnotic bass, the melodic outpourings and freewheeling improvisations are passionate and intensely charged, yet always open hearted.

Playing shows all over including Manchester Jazz Festival it’s been a while since Arun came to Nottingham. This is a long overdue return.

“A performance that’s wildly engaging, musically fascinating and sheer fun.” Wakefield Jazz
