Nottingham Trent University invites key stakeholders in delivery of SME support in the D2N2 area to the partnership launch of two European Social Fund (ESF) projects; Priority Skills for D2N2 SMEs and Grads for D2N2.  There will be an opportunity to hear more about the activities planned and how the projects can add value to local SME support available.

NB This event is not for project beneficiaries, an external launch event for SMEs and potential beneficiaries will follow in January 2019.

ESF Priority Skills for D2N2 SMEs will offer, to people in employment in the D2N2 area, bespoke programme of training and upskilling, career coaching and employability advice encouraging employment progression. The project will be delivered with the University of Derby, Nottingham College, Derby College and Vision West Nottinghamshire College.

ESF Grads for D2N2 will offer a range of opportunities and initiatives to strengthen partnerships and co-operation between SMEs and education and skills providers to improve the labour market relevance within the D2N2 education and training system and strengthened vocational education.  The project will be delivered with the University of Derby, Nottingham City Council, Nottingham College, Derby College and Vision West Nottinghamshire College.

1.30 pm – Event begins -  Event is opened by Senior NTU staff

Series of presentations from project delivery partners (TBC)

3.00 pm – Event End
