Discover the amazing instruments of the Indonesian Gamelan percussion orchestra as part of NTU’s Global Week.
Learn how to play traditional giant gongs, metallophones and drums in this free workshop led by musician and composer Nikki Kemp.
The fun and friendly sessions are open to all NTU students and staff, with no experience required to take part.
We are hosting two sessions on Thursday 28 February in the studio at the NTU Music Centre, City Campus.
- Session 1: 4 pm – 6 pm
- Session 2: 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm
Spaces for this workshop are limited and booking is essential. To reserve your place, please email music@ntu.ac.uk by 5 pm on Wednesday 27 February.
