Food: Fire It Up with Apprenticeships at NTU
Nottingham Trent University and the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink invites employers to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2019 and explore the degree apprenticeships on offer in the field of food, drink and life sciences.

This National Apprenticeship Week, NTU are proud to be hosting a joint event alongside the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink (NSAFD) to celebrate the value apprenticeships bring to the food and drink sector. We will be hosting an exciting day of talks and workshops at our Brackenhurst campus, where employers will have the opportunity to hear about the value that apprenticeships can bring to their business, as well as hearing about NTU's current and future apprenticeships offer in the food, drink and life sciences sector.

Since 2015, we have provided higher and degree apprenticeship programmes to over sixty employers. Our gold standard teaching, wide range of apprenticeship programmes and understanding of business needs means we are a training provider of choice.
The NSAFD exists to provide businesses across the UK's food and drink manufacturing and processing industry with a single source of access to leading edge workforce training, vocational study and skill upgrades designed to boost productivity, innovation, profitability and growth. They act as the industry's voice to Government on the strategic skills issues affecting our industry, and work closely with a range of key industry stakeholders, supporters and partners in delivering our mission of making the food and drink industry in the UK the best in the world.
