To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2019, NTU presents an opportunity for employers to learn more about apprenticeship opportunity related to the public sector and similar areas.

Offering practical advice and guidance on the entirety of the apprenticeship process, as well as an engaging insight into the state of the art facilities on offer to all NTU apprentices, this event will explore the following apprenticeships on offer:

As well as Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Adult Care, Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner and Level 5 Children, Young People and Families Manager, Level 5 Further Education Learning and Skills Teacher, Level 5 Nursing Associate, Level 6 Registered Nurse, Level 6 Paramedic and Level 6 Social Worker all currently in development.

This event will provide employers with an opportunity to find out more about NTU's apprenticeship offer, as well as having breakout sessions which will cover key areas of interest. Employers will be able to ask our apprenticeship team questions, as well as help shape our apprenticeship offer for the future.

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2019 we'll be hosting a number of events aimed at different sectors and industries including food, computing and technology and construction You can see a full schedule of events on our National Apprenticeship Week 2019 page.


1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Registration and networking lunch

1:30 pm - 1:45 pm: Welcome and introduction

1:45 pm - 2:15 pm: Apprenticeships in the public sector, the challenges and opportunities

2:15 pm - 2:30 pm: Open Q&A session

2:30 pm - 3:15 pm: Breakout sessions including Social Work, NHS and Healthcare and Education and Teaching

3:15 pm - 3:45 pm: Summary and close
