Join Beeston-based poet and Write the Poem facilitator Chris McLoughlin as he delivers this free workshop with NTU's Writer in Residence, Bridie Squires, as part of this year's Nottingham Poetry Festival.

Join Beeston-based poet and Write the Poem facilitator Chris McLoughlin as he delivers this free workshop with NTU's Writer in Residence, Bridie Squires, as part of this year's Nottingham Poetry Festival.

Open to students, staff and the general public, Chris and Bridie will help you to discover your poetic voice through writing and editing.

After a short break, you'll have the chance to perform your creations (if you choose to) at our poetry performance event from 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm. There will be an open mic, support from the fantastic Becky Cullen and Jo Dixon (Poetry M*thers), Danai Dee Denga, and finally a set from our headliner, Chris McLoughlin.

You must be aged 16 or over to attend this workshop. no previous experience is necessary.
