Abstract
Lower limb amputation is a growing worldwide healthcare issue. For those who have lost part of a limb, advanced prosthetic devices can improve quality-of-life and reduce long-term healthcare costs. The seminar will outline previous, current and future research from Nottingham Trent University centred upon the provision of hydraulic and microprocessor controlled prosthetic devices, aimed at improving function in lower limb amputees.
This seminar is hosted by Dr Graham Sharpe
