Due to unforeseen circumstances, Panya Banjoko is unfortunately no longer able to facilitate this workshop. However, we are thrilled to welcome Birmingham-based British Pakistani poet and playwright Nafeesa Hamid, who will run the workshop alongside Bridie.
Join Birmingham-based poet and playwright Nafeesa Hamid, as she delivers this free workshop with NTU's Writer in Residence Bridie Squires, at our Brackenhurst Campus.
Open to students, staff and the general public, Nafeesa and Bridie will help you to discover your poetic voice through writing and editing.
After a short break, you'll have the chance to perform your creations (if you choose to) at our poetry performance event from 7.30 pm - 9 pm. There will be an open mic, support from the brilliant Joshua Judson and Cleo Asabre-Holt, and finally a set from our headliner, Nafeesa Hamid.
You must be aged 16 or over to attend this workshop. no previous experience is necessary.
