TKCOM: Workshop on competency-based education
The workshop will provide an overview on assessment principles and disseminate activities from the TKCOM project.

TKCOM is an European co-founded project that aims to implement a competence-based approach in Chinese primary education by developing a pedagogical framework and qualifying university lectures that train pre- and in-service primary teachers.
This workshop will consider assessment principles in designing courses and then present findings from the project including discussing the global teachers’ key competences framework developed as part of the project, online and face-to-face training in competency-based approaches to education, and the implementation of the competency-based framework in China.
