Which pedagogic research method is right for me? TILT's Innovative Pedagogy Group invited colleagues to join it for a half day session looking at different approaches to pedagogic research.
Programme
This half day session introdcued participants to a number of different pedagogic research approaches using a world-cafe style structure.
The programme was as below:
- Introduction and Welcome (Karen Moss and Rob Ackrill)
- Phenomenology (Dan Brown, SST)
- Ethnography (Daniel King, NBS)
- Ethics (Rob Ackrill, NBS)
- Learning gain and how to measure it (James Leinster, NBS)
- Phenomenography (Jane Ching, NLS)
- Next steps style session (ALL)
