Join us for an exciting day: let's take a ride from eco-anxiety to an inspiring future!

Although exact figures are still hard to find, there is growing consensus among professionals that 'eco-anxiety' is rapidly rising due to serious issues concerning not only our ecosystems, but our societies in general. A great number of young people have taken to the streets recently to show their discontent and to be heard all over the world.

Many of us think that it is now our turn to find a way to support them and build a more desirable future, for all - but for this to happen, we first need to feel empowered to take positive actions.

Our planned joint TILT groups event aims to do just that - and in a single day!

Here's the draft plan of the day:

Natural name tags (make your own using dried leaves, seeds, herbs and spices)

Katalin Butt-Bethlendy (Chair of the Design Thinking in Education TILT Group)

From eco-anxiety to alternative futures and empowerment

Professor Petra Molthan-Hill (leader of NTU's Green Academy and chair of the Education for Sustainable Futures TILT Group) will use active game-based learning to help us move from where we are to where we need to be: feeling empowered and ready to take action!

Lunch with optional extra activities: Nature poems and Hygge colouring

From empowerment to positive actions for an inspiring future

Paul Fillingham (of Think Amigo) will help us apply Design Thinking tools and methods to take action, and create our practical solutions for a better future.

Surprise teatime treats

Feedback and good-byes
