As part of the School of Science and Technology Chemistry and Forensic Science Colloquium Meez Islam, Teesside University presents: Shining a light on interesting problems (novel applications of optical spectroscopy).
Abstract
Professor Islam will discuss his research on the development and application of liquid-phase broadband cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy (BBCEAS) and visible wavelength hyperspectral imaging to the detection, identification and age estimation of blood stains in a forensic context.
