Speaker biographies:

Frank Clark

Frank Clark is a former English footballer, manager and chairman of Nottingham Forest. Clark played over 350 games for Newcastle United before moving to Nottingham Forest where he won the First Division title and European Cup. After his playing career came to an end Frank enjoyed success in management by guiding Forest back to the Premier League in 1994. In 2011 he became chairman of Nottingham Forest and is currently a club ambassador.

Professor Cillian Ryan

Professor Cillian Ryan is Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Business, Law, and Social Sciences. In addition to leading the College, and international activity across the University, Cillian also has responsibility for the strategic direction of the sport provision at NTU. He also has over 20 years’ experience of coaching at club and representative level, including working with RFU academies, and the IRFU youth pathway alongside many international coaches.

6.05 pm - Panel discussion commences

7.00 pm - Refreshments, wine and canapés
