We’ll start by discussing what you know already about finance, identify areas you'd like to improve, and tailor a range of topics to suit your needs on the day. This could cover the following:
- Legal basics
- Understanding the key financial records
- Cashflow scenario planning
- The art and science of pricing
- How to present the numbers, be it for budgeting or investors
- Controls and processes, risk management
- When to hire an accountant or book-keeper… or explore the latest Fintech solutions to use on your phone.
- Funding options for creative and digital businesses
Part 2: Financial growth and planning
Building on the previous session, we'll look at financial planning and analysis. You’ll leave this workshop with useful templates that you can use to monitor your own finances and look to the future.
