Event details

NTU Enterprise is excited to be working with Alison Grade to deliver a comprehensive 1-day course for both aspiring entrepreneurs and freelancers.

Being a great freelancer is more than being great at working ‘in’ the work you want do – you need to be great at working ‘on’ your freelancing. In this series of workshops you’ll learn from author of The Freelance Bible, Alison Grade, how to work ‘on’ your freelancing and prepare yourself so you are best positioned to find the work you want to do.

1-day intensive course for businesses

21 January 2021

This 1-day workshop will teach participants how to build their successful freelance psyche by maintaining a balance of:

  • Skills – what skills and mindset does a freelancer need?
  • Finances – what do I really need to live on? How do I value myself?
  • Desires – how do I find and date clients to win business?

The workshop will give participants a framework which they can use to work ‘on’ their freelancing and build a successful and sustainable freelance career.

NTU students interested in freelancing can sign up to the same course spread over 6 weeks here
