NTU Enterprise welcomes entrepreneurs to join us for an event with Alison Grade to provide a preview of what guests can expect from our upcoming series 'How to be a great freelancer'. During this event, Alison Grade will provide an introduction to our exciting new course and answer questions from our team and guests about what to expect from the series.
About the course
NTU Enterprise is working with Alison Grade to deliver a series of workshops for entrepreneurs on how to be great freelancers.
Being a great freelancer is more than being great at working ‘in’ the work you want to do – you need to be great at working ‘on’ your freelancing. In this series of workshops you’ll learn from author of The Freelance Bible, Alison Grade, how to work ‘on’ your freelancing. and prepare yourself so you are best positioned to find the work you want to do.
With the world of work changing and many more people looking to freelancing for their career, author of The Freelance Bible, Alison Grade is will take you through how to rethink your skills and unlock new opportunities.
This workshop series will give practising freelancers the knowledge and confidence to be great freelancers as well as a framework which they can use to work ‘on’ their freelancing and build successful and sustainable freelance careers.
When is the course?
We will deliver this course in two ways.

About Alison Grade
Alison describes her key skill as transforming creative ideas into a business reality.
She accomplishes this with the films she produces, the creative entrepreneurs she mentors, SMEs and freelancers she advises and, in her Penguin, published book, The Freelance Bible.
Alison has an unique skillset in that she has formal academic training (INSEAD MBA); has worked at senior level in many media companies; is an entrepreneur who has established several businesses and is a Nesta accredited Creative Enterprise trainer and mentor.
She is a regular speaker on freelancing and her clients include ScreenSkills, IPSE, BBC, The Guardian and SimonSinek.com.
She brings her passion, knowledge and experience with her in all the work she does.
