This event will be an occasion to recognise the Islamic occasion of Ramadan which many of our students and staff will be participating in. Ramadan is a time where Muslims fast and reflect on empathy, patience, charity and bringing people together. This event will also include reflections on abstinence for other faith traditions.

This event will be an occasion to recognise the Islamic occasion of Ramadan which many of our students and staff will be participating in. Ramadan is a time where Muslims fast and reflect on empathy, patience, charity and bringing people together. This event will also include reflections on abstinence for other faith traditions.

On the day we will have guest speakers, students and staff sharing and explaining what Ramadhan and abstinence means to them. There will be the fast opening - Iftar meal (virtually) a time to share a meal and connect.

Hosted by NTU Faith in partnership with NTU Virtual Global Lounge, NTU Islamic Society and Nottingham Trent International College.

  • 8.25pm Prayer to Open Fast

  • Online socialise
  • 8.50pm Close
