In an effort to better educate ourselves on Black history and race relations in Britain today, and to create an open forum for meaningful conversations amongst students and staff, the Department of Sport Science are hosting a series of Book Club-style discussions. This online event is the first in the series, and is designed to increase our knowledge, understanding, and awareness of racism and anti-racism through discussing a book that has attracted critical acclaim and sparked a national conversation: Reni Eddo-Lodge’s Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race.
This event is open to students and staff and will be an online workshop via Microsoft Teams.
