What differentiates companies to be an employer of choice is often connected to their employer brand enabling them to recruit, retain and engage  the right employees for them.

Employer branding may be conscious or not; it is evident through company values and culture and impacts on all organisational approaches to people management.

This online session will enable participants to reflect on the principles of employer branding and people management practices which can enhance the proposition as “employer of choice” and address issues related to recruitment and retention. Further to that participants will have the opportunity to assess the wider external and internal parameters and get practical in identifying solutions to a number of current issues.

About the Facilitator's

Dr Stefanos Nachmias is a Principal Lecturer and the Deputy Head in the Department of Human Resource Management. Stefanos work closely with the Head of Department to develop and implement strategies in achieving the Department's learning and teaching objectives.  Stefanos specialises in equal pay, equality in the workplace and diversity management in modern organisations. He teaches human resource management at postgraduate level and supervise a number of doctoral students.

Antonia Genghi is a Principal Lecturer and course leader on the MSc and Post Graduate Diploma in HRM. er passion is the development of individuals in their personal and professional aspects of their work-based HR practice. Antonia’s academic specialism is Employment Law which she teaches to both post-graduate and undergraduate learners. Antonia has an extensive management experience in retail sector.
