The session will showcase the Digital Marketing Academy (DMA), a joint initiative between Nottingham Trent University (NTU) and the University of Nottingham (UoN) that addresses the high-level digital skills gap identified by Nottingham City Council and supports the Universities for Nottingham initiative by strengthening our links with local employers and supporting graduate retention in the city. DMA includes a mixture of employer-led workshops, elements of online self-study, Insight Days with local digital marketing agencies and a challenge based on a real-life brief.
The session will be led by Hanna Luetkemeier, a Business Development Manager from Nottingham Trent University and Chris Colgate, a Placement Consultant from the University of Nottingham.
Hanna manages a team of employer engagement specialists who work with employers to identify opportunities to connect with student and graduate talent across the region, nationally and internationally. Hanna has been managing NTU’s employer-led initiatives which address local strategic themes such as the digital skills gap and graduate retention in Nottingham.
Chris manages a range of placement and work experience programmes for the University of Nottingham, connecting businesses across the region and nationally with student and graduate talent in a wide variety of ways. Chris has worked on a number of initiatives to address the challenge of graduate retention in the Nottinghamshire area and has worked in partnership with 100’s of SME’s to support their recruitment activity during his time with the University.
