Already freelancing or want to know more about how you can use your skills to boost your self-employment options? NTU Enterprise welcomes you to join us for an event with Alison Grade to provide a preview of what guests can expect from our popular returning series 'How To Be A Great Freelancer'.
During this online event, Diana Pasek-Atkinson and Alison Grade will introduce this value-packed course and answer questions from guests about what to expect from the series.
About the course
NTU Enterprise is working with Alison Grade, author of The Freelance Bible, to deliver a series of workshops for anyone who wants to know more about how to be a great freelancer.
Being a great freelancer is more than being great at working ‘in’ the work you want to do – you need to be great at working ‘on’ your freelancing. In this series of workshops, you’ll learn how to work ‘on’ your freelancing and prepare yourself so you are best positioned to thrive in the work you want to do.
This workshop series is essential for anyone looking to work in the creative industries on graduation or in general. A recent Creative Industries Federation report on freelancing showed that 47% of work in the creative industries is freelance. It’s highly likely that graduates will need to be ready to work as freelancers if not by design, then by necessity.
This workshop series will give you the knowledge and confidence to be a great freelancer as well as a framework you can use to work ‘on’ your freelancing and build a successful and sustainable freelance career.
