NTU are supporting SME’s by offering a variety of support through the ERDF Sustainability in Enterprise project. Across multiple strands of the University there is a suite of support including a talent grant for graduate recruitment and the Sustainability Community Lab (SCL). The Sustainability Community Lab (SCL) is an early careers development programme designed to equip individuals employed by SMEs with the knowledge and tools to elevate the priority of sustainable practices and processes within the work environment.
Speaker Bios:
Matthew Staniforth, Employer Engagement – Employer Engagement Projects Manager Manager – Nottingham Trent University
Matthew manages a team of employer engagement specialists who lead on delivery of externally funded projects. Supporting employers to identify opportunities to connect with student and graduate talent across the D2N2 region, offering funding support for graduates placements, programmes for upskilling opportunities among other available support from NTU.
Lucy Moore, Sustainability and Employer Engagement Coordinator – Nottingham Trent University
Lucy leads on NTU’s externally funded Sustainability in Enterprise project, supporting SME’s in the local area with their graduate recruitment linked to sustainability focuses. Offering a range of support including funding for graduate placements and The Sustainability Community Lab (SCL) which is an early careers development programme, designed to equip individuals employed by SMEs with the knowledge and tools to elevate the priority of sustainable practices and processes within the work environment.
