Event details
Marking four years of collaboration between NTU’s Nottingham School of Art & Design and Emmanuel House homeless charity, BA Fashion Design students will present outerwear created from waste textiles at an afternoon show hosted by the Creative Quarter in Sneinton Market on Weds 12 October.
A range of garments will also be on display to view in detail at the event and a number of final year photography students will be covering the event too.
About the project
Considering both functionality and the overall aesthetic, each student was tasked by Emmanuel House to design and create a sustainable outerwear garment from unwanted textiles, to be used by a person experiencing homelessness or sold in the Emmanuel House charity shop to raise funds.
