Event details

Zines (pronounced ‘zeens’) are an accessible, versatile outlet for ideas, art and writing. From their origins in early twentieth century science fiction fandom, in more proximate times zines have become an important part of political movements and participatory culture, often giving a voice to marginalised groups. Zines have focused on Black issues, protest/activism, law enforcement etc. and most recently zines have been used as part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

This event is open to staff and students.
