Are you concerned for the future of your business amid rumours of a pending recession? We want to remind you to take a moment to pause and plan for all eventualities while keeping focussed on your future ambitions and business goals.
Rather than tell you to batten down the hatches, we want to dispel some myths about preparing your business for the unexpected. If you end up making rash decisions or listening to non-expert advice, you might end up making cuts that damage profits rather than bolster them. That’s why we’ll be taking the calm and collected approach, so you feel best equipped if the worst should happen.
To help you build your recession survival kit, we’re hosting a panel of specialists to share their tips on how best to grow your business when times are hard. As well as answering some of the frequently asked questions, we’ll open the floor up for you to pick the brains of our experts and get answers to your business concerns.
Why come to our event?
By the end of the session, you will have a deep understanding of the do’s and don’ts to help guide your business decisions during financial uncertainty.
Around the topic of building business resilience, our panel will discuss:
- Mastering your service/product offering
- Where to make cuts and where NOT to make cuts
- Being true to the purpose or ‘why’ of your business
- How to grow your business by thinking smarter not harder
The panel discussion will be followed by networking and refreshments, with a chance to find out about the opportunities for free support from NTU Enterprise and the Dryden Enterprise Centre.
There is no onsite parking at the Dryden Enterprise Centre, and we encourage, wherever possible, that people access the building by walking, cycling, or using public transport.
The DEC is within Nottingham Trent University’s city campus.
We’re adjacent to the Dryden Centre and opposite the Bonington Gallery. Our location is highlighted by the NTU Enterprise pin. Map courtesy of Google.
