Professor Philippe Wilson Inaugural Lecture

From Poultry to Public Health: One Health and One Medicine for Innovations in Healthcare

Professor Philippe Wilson
Networking | Public lectures

The concept of One Health and One Medicine cover the interrelation between humans, animals and the environment; and the two-way benefits human and animal medicine can engender, respectively. Many conditions, in particular metabolic diseases cross these species boundaries, allowing us to probe disease aetiology across organisms to inform diagnostics, treatments and prevention strategies.
