Want to power up your freelancing skills?
NTU Enterprise is delighted to be working with Alison Grade (The Freelance Bible) and Matt Dowling (Freelancer Club) to bring you 'How to Be a Great Freelancer' - the series that will help you harness your freelancing power and tap into the full potential of your self-employment opportunities.
About the course
Being a great freelancer is more than being great at working ‘in’ the work you want to do – you need to be great at working ‘on’ your freelancing. In this series of workshops, you’ll learn how to work ‘on’ your freelancing and prepare yourself so you are best positioned to thrive in the work you want to do.
This workshop series is essential for anyone looking to work in the creative industries on graduation or in general. A recent Creative Industries Federation report on freelancing showed that 47% of work in the creative industries is freelance. It’s highly likely that graduates will need to be ready to work as freelancers if not by design, then by necessity.
This workshop series will give you the knowledge and confidence to be a great freelancer as well as a framework you can use to work ‘on’ your freelancing and build a successful and sustainable freelance career.
