Event details
As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2022, NTU, Nottingham Jobs and Nottingham College are pleased to be hosting the second Nottingham Apprenticeships Conference. This event aims to provide practical advice and guidance on how to access the many tangible benefits apprenticeships can bring to business, and help you find innovative solutions to your business needs.
Open to businesses from across all sectors and industries, the morning will feature an inspirational key note speech from Will Morledge, Interim Director of D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership, followed by a topical roundtable discussion, where employers can 'ask the expert' to learn more about apprenticeships at NTU.
In addition, we are delighted to announce that Michelle Donelan, Minister of State for Higher and Further Education, will be delivering a speech online to welcome delegates.
The later part of the conference will provide attendees the chance to learn more about specific apprenticeship courses, by joining one of several breakout rooms, where members of the NTU apprenticeships team will be providing presentations on opportunities in the following sectors:
- Business and Marketing
- Construction
- Digital and Technology
- Food, Drink and Life Sciences
- Health, Science and Care
- Law
These interactive sessions will allow delegates the opportunity to have valuable one-to-one conversations with our industry experts regarding apprenticeships most pertinent to them and their business.
Following the breakout sessions, there will be networking opportunities over lunch with other businesses and experts from NTU, Nottingham Jobs and Nottingham College. In addition, there will be three informal information sessions for you to drop in to, to learn more about general apprenticeship questions relating to funding and training requirements.
