Join NLS Alumnus, Christian Weaver, for an 'audience with' session, exclusively for NLS students. The event will feature a Q and A. Please submit your questions via the form in your confirmation email.

Christian is a barrister at Garden Court North Chambers and founder of legal project, The Law in 60 Seconds. He has recently released his debut book, The Law in 60 Seconds.

Christian sat as the 2017 UK Youth Delegate to the Congress of the Council of Europe – the human rights organisation responsible for the European Convention on Human Rights. He spoke about the views of young people in the UK and worked on projects promoting social cohesion.

In an interview for Network (NTU’s alumni and supporters magazine) Christian was quoted as saying: “Human rights issues drive my passion for law and politics. I dislike the idea that somebody’s civil and human rights can be violated, but they feel unable to challenge this due to lack of resources and knowledge. My goal is to redress this imbalance.”

Christian is now using his legal experience to support students as an NLS Alumni Fellow.

The event will be held in Lecture Theatre 5 in Newton.
