Event details
This event will showcase the current offer from the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment in Mansfield, and outline the planned course development for the School.
It is a platform to engage with attendees on key topics related to construction in the region. We will provide an insight into the future construction skills needs in Mansfield to meet the new legislation regarding low carbon buildings, and introduce and discuss the School's plans for a Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Construction and Retrofit.

2 pm - 4 pm
- Welcome to the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, Professor Richard Bull, Deputy Dean of the School.
- Predicted Construction and Civil Engineering skills needs in the East Midlands and NTU’s plan to address this issue, David Walker, Principal Lecturer Construction Management at NTU.
- NTU’s new HNC Future Homes Design and Construction course overview, David Walker.
- Tour of NTU in Mansfield’s facility.

From 4 pm - 6.30 pm we will also be holding an Undergraduate Open Day in Mansfield for prospective students.
