About 'Saturday side-hustle'

A side-hustle is any small business that you run on the side of your studies or paid employment.  It can be as small or big as you can dedicate time to, and just because your side-hustle is a ‘side-line’ doesn’t mean it can’t be improved.  And you’ll need to stay within the law too – we’ll cover that so you know you won’t get into hot water.  We’ll show you how to think about your side-hustle and give you tips on running it as efficiently and profitably as you can.

The course is based on two full Saturdays and is for NTU students & graduates only.  There’s no cost for you to attend, and we even include lunch for you!

You do need to commit to attending both days.  If you’re unable to do that, then sorry the programme isn’t for you.

The key dates are:

  • Saturday 7 May 10.00 to 16.00
  • Saturday 14 May 10.00 to 16.00

The programme will be hosted by NTU Enterprise in their dedicated building for entrepreneurs, Dryden Enterprise Centre, at NTU’s city campus.  The contents is outlined below.

To gain a place*, you just need to complete this online form by Thursday 5 May: Saturday Side-Hustle application form

*If we’re over-subscribed, places will be allocated on the basis of prioritising those who have a digital or creative side-hustle, and then on a first-come first served bases.
