Featuring an exclusive headline performance by Shauna, supported by our talented Writing, Reading and Pleasure students, there’s also a chance to ask questions in a Q&A hosted by Dr Becky Cullen. Free and open to all, join us in person or watch the livestream.

Watch WRAP Live! showcase with Shauna O'Briain online.
Join us in person or online and experience a free live performance from spoken word and hip hop artist Shauna O'Briain – also known as MC Angel.
Filmed by Red Bull TV, BBC3 and Channel 4 for the 'Women in Hip Hop' project, MC Angel has performed at festivals across the country and featured on BBC 1Extra Live Lounge during spoken word season. In 2018, MC Angel published her memoir Moments of Significance, sharing her experiences of growing up in London as a white working class queer woman.
This event also includes a Q&A hosted by poet and academic Dr Becky Cullen, and performances from Nottingham Trent University's WRAP (Writing, Reading and Pleasure) students.
