Event details

For our next WRAP Live! event Dr Becky Cullen welcomes Shauna O’Briain to chat about her performance and writing career as MC Angel. They’ll be discussing how Shauna’s writing has been shaped by her experience of growing up on a council estate as a white, working class queer woman. Inspired by Shauna’s memoir Moments of Significance, they’ll touch on positivity, mental health, and self-expression.

Shauna will perform live for us, and we’ll also hear from WRAP students sharing writing inspired by her writing and performance masterclasses.

Get involved and ask a question in our live Q&A.

Hosted by poet and academic Dr Becky Cullen, join us in person at Metronome or tune into the livestream from the comfort of your own home.
