NTU students and staff are invited to join hip-hop artist, rapper, and author MC Angel for a writing masterclass. Part of NTU’s extra-curricular Writing, Reading and Pleasure programme (WRAP), this event is completely free and online or in person.

Shauna O'Briain AKA MC Angel is a spoken word and hip hop artist. Filmed by Red Bull TV, BBC3 and Channel 4 for the 'Women in Hip Hop' project, MC Angel has performed at festivals across the country and featured on BBC 1Extra Live Lounge during spoken word season. In 2018 she published her memoir Moments of Significance, sharing her experiences of growing up in London as a white working class queer woman.

MC Angel will be focusing on how to channel emotions in the safety of this creative writing workshop, and sharing her writing exercises and tips as we'll be writing work for the WRAP Showcase on 17 March.

Who is this event for?
This masterclass is only open to current NTU students and staff.
