Event details

Nottingham Trent University invites you to the annual School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences (ARES) Research Conference.

This in-person event will include a range of discussions and presentations from across our postgraduate and academic community covering a wealth of subject areas, including, but not limited to: agriculture, environmental science, equine health, welfare and performance, and conservation.

This day is a celebration of the work of our diverse and successful research community.

We welcome Dr Ruth Little from the University of Sheffield as our Invited Speaker for the event. Dr Little is a qualitative social scientist who specialises in agricultural and food-related research and lectures in Geography. She will be speaking on 'Getting social science evidence into agri-environmental policy development'.

Lunch will be served during the day, followed by an evening BBQ after the conference ends at 5.30 pm. The BBQ will provide an opportunity to celebrate and thank everyone across the School for their contribution to our recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) success. Please inform us if you have any dietary requirements in your booking response.
