Are you struggling with gaps in your digital skills? Our event can help you to understand where your digital skills gaps are and how we can help you to fill them.

Here at NTU our Employability and Apprenticeship teams are hosting this event to explore the digital skills an NTU graduate can bring to your business, ranging from digital marketing skills such as search engine optimisation (SEO), pay per click (PPC) and digital public relations (PR), through to technical computer science skills such as coding, web development and more. Additionally, we can offer the option of industry-specific support or support bespoke for your business. This event is the perfect opportunity for you to come along and discuss the digital support you require in our breakout rooms.

We are hosting this event in response to the No Longer Optional: Employer Demand for Digital Skills report from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, which revealed that around 82% of all jobs in the UK list digital skills as a requirement. On average, they also pay 29% more than those that don’t require these skills (£37,000 vs £28,000 a year). Despite this, employers struggled to fill one-third of vacancies last year due to a lack of digital competency, highlighting a significant discrepancy between skill supply and demand in the UK.

We're really looking forward to bringing people together again for face-to-face networking and learning about our funded support for SMEs, at this fantastic new venue based in Worksop, Bassetlaw.
