Event details
This event is only open to NTU and Confetti HE students.
Explore Nottingham's Natural History Museum at Wollaton Hall, set in a picturesque Deer Park just outside the city centre. Entry to the museum is free but you'll need to pay for your return bus fare.
Since opening in 1926, Wollaton Hall has been home to Nottingham’s Natural History Museum. Browse their collection of 75,000 objects ranging from fossils, minerals, plants and eggs to invertebrates, vertebrates, shells and taxidermy, as well as preserved ‘spirit’ animals and rare specimens from across the globe. Discover their Natural history collections in the Bird, Fish room, the Long Gallery as well as The Great Hall and Salon.
We'll meet at Newton reception on City Campus and take a short walk to catch the bus from the city centre. On arrival at the park, there is a 10-minute walk up the drive through the park to the museum. After exploring the collections, you can return to campus on the bus, or opt to spend more time exploring the Deer Park.
Advance booking is essential as places are limited.
