This event is only open to NTU and Confetti HE students.

Join us for a visit to Nottingham's historic City of Caves. Meeting at NTU's City Campus (Newton reception) we'll walk together across the city centre to the Caves (approximately 15 minutes' walk) or catch the tram (in the case of bad weather).

Journey around the winding passageways of Nottingham’s largest network of sandstone caves and immerse yourself in an underground world. Discover the lives of the people who found themselves living and working in this extraordinary environment. Soak up the atmosphere of the ancient caves, including WW2 air raid shelters and a medieval tannery.

Due to the historic nature of the caves, they are not accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

This tour is free, however you'll need to pay your own tram fare – for students a single is £2.40 and a day ticket is £4.

Advance booking for the tour is essential as places are limited.
